During the Summer of 2004, Amy had a chemical engineering lab that required her to put together presentations of experimentation data. On one of the individual labs, her group needed a diagram and animation of the direction of fluid flow through the pipes. We worked together to create a very accurate 3d model of the lab and an animation to embed in her powerpoint presentation.

One of the key benefits of getting a dual-major in Digital Media and Graphic Design at UCF is that you get plenty of studio art experience and you get to take more technical digital media electives like e-commerce, realtime modeling, and digital rhetoric. Of these classes, one of the most surprisingly applicable and informative was realtime modeling. The instructor for the course was Chris Murray one of a few professionals licensed by Discreet to teach 3D Studio Max. Since then I have been very interested in 3D modeling and know that I will continue to explore it's possibilities.
